The Saint John Sea Dogs have selected Russian forward Alexander Vdovenko 42nd overall in the 2016 CHL Import Draft. The 17-year-old from Moscow is 6’4″ and 200 lbs. and plays centre and left wing. Vdovenko (pronounced “doh-VEHN-koh”) posted nine goals and 24 points in 34 games last season with the Vityaz Podolsk Under-17 team in Russia.…
