The Saint John Sea Dogs have selected Russian forward Alexander Vdovenko 42nd overall in the 2016 CHL Import Draft. The 17-year-old from Moscow is 6’4″ and 200 lbs. and plays centre and left wing. Generally, angling is slow with warm water, and pool closures still in effect. Doug White’s Tammerack Sports Fly Shop in Juniper said the fishing was slow and then it stopped. Seems to be a few fish around but the water is low and warm and with the possible exception of a local or two, the river is vacant.
