On Thursday, March 14, 2019, Royal Wood will be coming to town to play The Imperial Theatre.His new EP “Love Will Linger” is a fresh collection of songs from the vaults of his recent album “Ever After The Farewell”. “While making my last album, I was left with a handful of songs that meant a great deal to me, but didn’t fit the overall sound of the album,” says Royal. “They were songs of love and loss, taken deep from within my heart and soul. Written during the days of losing my father to Alzheimer’s and falling in love with my now wife – it’s a collection of songs I wanted the world to hear.”That contrast of love and loss dominated the entire creative process of the making of the music.

Salt Spring, a small Canadian island known for its large artistic community, created this exciting national art competition in 2015 to celebrate and promote the importance of art in Canada. 2019 SEED (Student Employment Experience Development) Applications Now Available
Summer job applications for the Student Employment Experience Development (SEED) program are now available.
Students may access the applications and other information on the program online. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, March 31st, 2019. “Our government recognizes the importance of providing opportunities for young New Brunswickers to learn and to gain hands-on experience in the job market,” said Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour Minister Trevor Holder. “These types of programs will help our youth become productive and successful members of our society.” For many years, the SEED program has provided experiential learning opportunities for students during the summer months. These placements are intended to help young New Brunswickers gain and develop skills and competencies that will benefit them in their future careers.

Irving Nature Park’s Christmas In The Barn With David Goss
Christmas in the Barn has become a seasonal tradition at the Irving Nature Park! Join us in the old Manchester Barn at 1379 Sand Cover Road with Storyteller David Goss. He will be sharing his favorite seasonal stories in two sessions.
