Breakthrough in “Big Image Data” at UNB-SJ
Researchers at UNB’s Saint John campus have been collaborating with Yale School of Medicine and Harvard Medical School to find an efficient way to search biomedical images. With the new portal, Scientists will be able to significantly cut down on the time it takes researchers to find relevant scientific information.

The research, from a five-year study led by Dr. Rémy Rochette, a marine evolutionary ecologist from the Saint John campus, could shed light on the way lobsters are connected and possibly impact the future management of stocks.
