Saint John Water Advises Customers Of Potential Water Discolouration

Saint John Water is advising customers in Saint John of the potential for water discolouration due to repair work on a major water line. Customers may notice a temporary minor discolouration to their water, which is expected to clear up over the next 12-24 hours. The water is still safe to consume.

If you are experiencing discoloured water, it is recommended that you take a few minutes to flush out the water in your plumbing. This can be done by simply turning on the bathtub tap for approximately 15 minutes. This will clear the sediment and draw fresh water into your plumbing.

Saint John Water thanks all residents for their cooperation and support. If residents have further questions or concerns, please contact the City of Saint John Customer Service Centre at 506-658-4455, Monday to Thursday (excluding holidays), 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
