Saint John Transit announces the following detours and service disruptions for the 2023 Lancaster Saint John Claus Parade. Service disruptions in the affected areas are expected to begin at approximately 12:30 pm and last until 2:30 pm on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
# 1W Lancaster Mall
There will be no service provided to Lancaster Mall during the parade. The bus will run from Simms Corner, left on Lancaster Avenue to Dunn Avenue.
#1E McAllister Place / Field House
There will be no service provided to Lancaster Mall during the parade. The bus will run to Dunn Avenue, left on Cushing Street, left on Tilton, left on Havelock, left on Lancaster Avenue, to Simms Corner to regular route.
# 15W Harbour Bridge
There will be no service provided to Lancaster Mall and Fairville Boulevard and Plaza during the parade. Westbound service will only be provided as far as Molson Avenue and Bleury Street.
# 15S Harbour Bridge
There will be no service provided from Lancaster Mall & Fairville Blvd. Plaza during the parade. Southbound service will start from Molson Avenue and Bleury Street.
Flex West
FLEX West will not service stops on the parade route for the duration of the parade. These include:
- Sobey’s Plaza
- Lancaster Mall
- Church and Main
- Harding
- Walnut and Main
- Westwind and Golden Mile
- Canadian Tire and Golden Mile
- Manawagonish and Coster.
Please plan for delays and service interruptions. Direct transfers from FLEX West to Route 1 and 15 will not be available for the duration of the parade.
