Remembrance Day Celebration

Remembrance Day  celebration will take place  at T D Station.

Doors open to the public at 9am. Everyone is asked to be seated no later than 10:15 am.

Preliminaries leading up to the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month will include the units forming-up, opening remarks, introduction of the Reviewing Officer, the Veterans’ Roll, and the “Pittance of Time” by singer/songwriter, Terry Kelly.

At 10:58 am the National Anthem will be played, followed by the formal Ceremony of Remembrance, which will include the Last Post, Two minutes of Silence, Rouse, and the Laying of Official Wreaths, March-Past, and the March of Honour.

The organizing committee welcomes anyone who has past service in the Canadian Armed Forces (Regular or Reserve) to be part of the Veterans unit on parade.

Note: November 11th is not just a day off. It is a sacred time to Remember the bravery and sacrifice of our military, past and present.

PARKING is free of charge and there will be extra Accessible Parking spots saved for those with the correct tags. These are on a first come basis.
