City Pedways Can Now Remain Open With Safety Measures In Place

Based on guidance received from Public Health, the City of Saint John has confirmed that all pedway connections are able to remain open during events taking place at facilities around the pedways, including TD Station and the Canada Games Aquatic Centre. 

The directive comes after a re-evaluation of public health requirements for social distancing in the pedways, in consultation with the provincial government. Anyone using the pedway will be required to be fully masked and make every effort to remain in their own family bubble. No large groups or congregating is allowed. 

Going forward, all pedways will be open during regular operating hours unless temporary closures are required for maintenance. The City will continue to provide notice should any closures be necessary.
