Saint John Police Force Recruiting New Members

On Behalf of Chief Robert Bruce

With a current composition of 142 uniform members, the Saint John Police Force is actively recruiting new officers. “Over the next five years, the Saint John Police Force anticipates 24 retirements which creates a significant opportunity to better reflect the ever-changing demographic of our city,” says Chief Robert Bruce.

Along with social media messaging, the recruitment campaign will include outreach through community sessions, feedback from the Chief’s Advisory Committee and working with the Atlantic Police Academy to ensure we enhance the diversity within the police force.

“Ever evolving and progressing with a changing environment, members of the Saint John Police Force are committed to serving together with our community to ensure a safe, secure, healthy city for those who live, work and visit Saint John. If you want to be the difference maker, Saint John Police Force will provide you with that opportunity,” adds Chief Robert Bruce.

Applicants are encouraged to forward a cover letter and resume to policerecruit@saintjohn.ca
