New Brunswick businesswoman Robyn Tingley is being recognized as one of the country’s most powerful women by the Women’s Executive Network (WXN).
Tingley, the founder and president of Saint John-based consulting firm GlassSky, is one of the 100 women named to the Network’s 2017 “Canada’s Most Powerful Women” list.
Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards was launched in 2003 as a way to highlight the accomplishments of women across the country and inspire others. To date, WXN has recognized over 1,000 women.
Over the last year, Tinley has helped start an initiative to get more women to run for public office in New Brunswick called Women for 50%, and she also released a book called the “Motivated Millenial.”
The 100 women are being honoured Thursday night at a gala in Toronto.
