Members of the Fredericton and Kennebecasis Rowing Clubs went south on the March Break for some spring training. Rowers took part in a week long provincial rowing camp in beautiful Richard B. Russell State Park in Elberton, Georgia.
The rowing centre has been a training ground for many international Olympic rowing crews and serves as a premier training site. Fully furnished cottages and 20 C plus temperatures awaited those that travelled to the south to get some pre-season training in and a break from the frigid temperatures and snow back home. Provincial coach Chantelle Hanely worked with crews throughout the week.
