oilpaintingcourseIntro to Oil Painting with Manami Fukuda

This beginners’ introductory class focuses on “still life.” In this six week course, you will learn about shapes of objects, light, composition, perspective and colour.  The subject image will be provided. Together we will begin with a step-by-step understanding of the layering method of painting to create a range of tones, texture, clarity, and shape. After you learn the basic skills of oil painting, you will be supported to develop your own style and personal techniques later on. The goal of this class is to get comfortable and familiar with using oil paints, and of course to discover the pleasure and rewards of creating your art!
