Rides@Rockwood Automotive Show
The Rides@Rockwood Automotive Show happens Friday September 25th and Saturday September 26th at Rockwood Park, 142 Lake Drive in Saint John. The show will feature Cars, Trucks and Motorcycles. Registration is $10 per vehicle. General Admission is by donation. All proceeds from the event will support the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue, P.R.O Kids, and TADD NB.

Chown Field Receives a New Look with Support from CN EcoConnexions
Chown Field has been repurposed to better serve the evolving needs of the community. The City of Saint John received a $25,000 grant from the CN EcoConnexions program for the project. CN EcoConnexions is a partnership between CN, Tree Canada and Communities in Bloom that helps Canadian municipalities and community groups establish tree planting and green space enhancement initiatives in a sustainable, environmentally responsible manner.

Saint John Touch a Truck Event This Weekend
Start your Engines! Touch a Truck is coming back to Saint John this Saturday, September 19th, from 10 am to 3 pm at the Long Wharf on the Saint John Waterfront. Presented by Bayview Trucks & Equipment, in support of First Steps Housing Project Inc., Touch a Truck will happen rain or shine! Admission is $5 per person (children under 2 free). Over $8600 raised at SPCA/ARL 22nd Annual Dog Jog

Queen Square Lighting Disruption
As we reach the final stage of improvements in Queen Square, citizens are advised that there will be no lighting in the park for approximately one week. Work on the lighting began yesterday, September 10 and is expected to be completed by September 17. A contractor will be on site to run wiring and install new lighting fixtures.

Harbour Passage to be Restored: Cranberry to the Core
The City of Saint John is pleased to announce that Harbour Passage will be receiving a much needed refresh. The project includes an asphalt overlay and reapplication of the iconic cranberry coating. It is anticipated that upon completion of this work the Passage will be restored to its original beauty that residents and visitors have come to appreciate. The overall construction schedule is expected to begin today Tuesday, September 8th with an estimated completion date of Friday, October 16th.
