This annual initiative provides funding to local non-profit organizations that help build healthy, active, and inclusive communities through social, cultural, and recreational programming.

Who Can Apply

Eligible non-profit organizations based in Saint John may submit applications under one of three categories:

• Organizational Support
• Community Projects
• Special Events

What’s New for 2026

The program has been updated to better reflect community priorities:

• Refined eligibility criteria: Focus on services and activities that deliver the greatest impact for citizens, with attention to target populations identified by Community Services.
• Four Grant Sectors: Inclusive, Vibrant, Green, and Engaged Communities.
• Scaled funding tiers: Awards are now tailored to the size and capacity of each applicant, ensuring fair and realistic funding ranges.
