The City of Saint John would like to advise the public of the following traffic interruption that will begin Friday, August 1 on Water Street. This closure is necessary to allow for food trucks, pedestrian foot traffic, and special events as part of the Area506 Music Festival and the International Culture Fest.

Duration:  Three (3) days

Time: 5:00 p.m. August 1 to 11:59 p.m. August 3

Direction: In both directions

Action: Road closed to through traffic. One lane will be open for Saint John Transit only.

Specific area: Between King Street and Prince William Street

Road signage and sidewalk directional signage will be in place. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be aware of pedestrians and workers.
