We regret to share that, due to the significant weather event over the long weekend, the ice surface at the Rothesay Common has sustained extensive damage. Despite our Parks staff’s best efforts to repair and maintain the ice, the conditions remain unsafe for skating.

For everyone’s safety, we have made the difficult decision to close the ice surface for the season. We understand this is disappointing news, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who laced up their skates, played some pond hockey, or joined us for the special events throughout the season.

We can’t wait to welcome you back again next winter for more frosty fun!
