On May 27, 2023, we celebrated the unveiling of our Uptown Box Art project pieces. Continuing the Business Improvement Associations efforts to prioritize placemaking in the uptown, we had local artists paint FOUR traffic boxes in the uptown area. Upon completion of the pieces, a celebratory community event was in order! We enjoyed entertainment by Eli Martinez, Angelina Sparks (Highland Dancer), Rothesay Ballet School, Babyhands (Interaction School of Performing Arts), Rothesay High School Band. It was a wonderful day of chalk art, painting demonstrations, bubbles, and more! Thanks also to our sponsors, Rock 88.9 and Cooper Equipment.
