The group One Hundred Women Who Care Of Greater Saint John have chosen Romero House as the recipient of its generosity from the latest meeting.
This after several charities made their five minute pitches to the group the vote was taken and Romero House was chosen to receive $23,000.
This is the second time the group has been selected, it got $20,000 in September of 2013.
To date the group has now donated just under $479 thousand to 20 local charities.
