SAINT JOHN – Marshalls is opening a store on the east side next year, an official with the company confirmed Thursday.

It will be a combined store with HomeSense, which is currently co-located with the Winners on the east side. Winners, HomeSense and Marshalls are all owned by the same company.

Erin O’Brien, a public relations supervisor with the company, told Huddle in an e-mail that they expect the grand opening of the store will take place late next year, but can’t confirm that date at this stage.

O’Brien also couldn’t yet confirm the new location, but McAllister Place did say in an e-mail to Huddle that the store will open in the old Sobeys location in the fall of 2018.
