Script Happens: Call for Directors, Actors and Crew

The Saint John Theatre Company (SJTC) have issued a call for directors, actors and crew for Script Happens!

Their annual playwright contest, Script Happens is in full swing. Scripts have been selected and crafted by their professional dramaturge Stephen Massicotte. Now it’s time for the next stage in the page to stage transformation!

They are in need of one director, assistant directors/ stage managers, cast and crew.

The Script Happens showcase will run at the BMO Studio Theatre from June 14th to 17th, 2017.

This year’s final selections are:

The Appearance of Truth by Bet O’Toole
Inspired by a true story, this topical drama explores the consequences and power social media has on two lives which are changed forever. (about 35 minutes)

Faking It by James McClure
A witty comedy, this play takes an edgy look at social conventions and personal relationships. (about an hour)

Wndrlnd by Alison House
This light-hearted whimsical comedy takes you down a path filled with eccentric characters who are as endearing as they are challenging. (about 55 minutes)
