The City of Saint John would like to advise the public of the following traffic interruption on Sandy Point Road and Foster Thurston Drive. This work is necessary for the construction of the new roundabout.

Street: Sandy Point Road and Foster Thurston Drive

Date: September 23, 2025

Duration: Four (4) weeks

Time: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Direction: In both directions

Action: Traffic is reduced to a single lane

Specific area: Intersection of Sandy Point Road and Foster Thurston Drive

Description of work: Infrastructure installation/upgrades

During placement of concrete and asphalt, the roadway will be reduced to a single lane to accommodate construction activities. Motorist should expect delays. Road signage and sidewalk directional signage will be in place. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be aware of pedestrians and workers.
