The City of Saint John would like to advise the public of the following traffic interruption that will begin on Tuesday, September 30 on City Road and Station Street.  This traffic interruption is necessary to complete asphalt resurfacing in the area.

Street: City Road and Station Street

Specific area: City Road between Garden Street and Haymarket Square, and Station Street between Garden Street and Smythe Street.

Date: September 30, 2025

Duration: Four (4) days, weather permitting

Time: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Direction: In both directions

Action: Traffic reduced to one lane.

Description of work: Asphalt resurfacing

Motorists should expect delays. Road signage and sidewalk directional signage will be in place. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and be aware of pedestrians and workers.
