Barry Ogden gives out a huge Thank You to the YMCA Service Club and the many other sponsors for the Marigolds seeds, trays and soil.

28 years ago we went to City Council of Saint John and asked if we ( working with Centennial Elementary School in growing them ) could plant marigolds on Main Street , paint a mural on Paradise Row coming on to Main Street with 300 high school art students from 10 high schools and their teachers.We asked if the City of Saint John would narrow Main Street to what it once was, encourage the redevelopment with homes and refurbish Robertson’s Square on Bridge Street. We have encouraged the Riverboat to have boat tours around Milford, Randolph , Millidgeville and Dominion Park to return along with the trolleys to go up and down Main Street once again ( Aquila has trolleys and Saint John Marina has a riverboat).

We do great things in our community !

We also clean vacant lots and paint homes and now have over 40 schools growing marigolds, 80,000 citizens have been involved.
