Join in a\u00a0magical journey of sweet gingerbread delights throughout uptown Saint John!<\/p>\n

The 4th annual Crosby\u2019s Gingerbread Trail kicked off a couple of weeks ago\u00a0in shops, restaurants and public locations in Uptown Saint John. The Trail, sponsored by Crosby Molasses Co. Ltd., is a network of 34 gingerbread houses and other gingerbread creations on display throughout the uptown core.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event will raise funds for the CBC Harbour Lights campaign through the sale of a limited edition, full-colour holiday cookbook. The cookbook will be available at most Gingerbread Trail locations for a minimum $5 donation, while quantities last.<\/p>\n

This Gingerbread Trail is based on The Land of Sweets in the Nutcracker<\/em>, a holiday-themed ballet performed each December at the Imperial Theatre by dancers from Rothesay Ballet School and featuring guest artists from Canada\u2019s Royal Winnipeg Ballet. This year\u2019s performances are Friday, December 11th at 7 pm and Saturday, December 12th at 2 pm.<\/p>\n

Maps listing all of the locations along the Gingerbread Trail are available at participating businesses.<\/p>\n

The gingerbread creations will be on display until Christmas Eve,\u00a0December 24th.<\/p>\n
