Based on the current weather forecast for tomorrow, January 29, the Saint John region is expected to receive anywhere from 20 to 35 cm of snow\u00a0combined with wind gusts of up to 80 km\/h, in addition to the snow accumulation from previous snowfalls. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Public Works crews have been preparing in advance of the pending storm and are out clearing around the clock. Crews will continue with a full plowing effort to clear streets and sidewalks once the storm begins tomorrow. City streets are plowed<\/span>\u00a0based on a priority system, view the interactive map\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Residents can help with snow clearing efforts by parking off-street where possible and following any parking restrictions that are announced.\u00a0Clearing catch basins\u00a0and drains around\u00a0your property is also very helpful.<\/p>\n A reminder that it is very important to keep children away from snowbanks near the roads and sidewalks when plows\u00a0or snow removal equipment\u00a0are operating. Plows often have limited visibility and road conditions can make it difficult to stop quickly.
