Based on the current weather forecast for tomorrow, January 14, the Saint John region is expected to receive anywhere from 15 to 30 cm of snow\u00a0followed by warmer temperatures and rain, in addition to the snow from last week\u2019s storm\u00a0and the snowfall on Wednesday. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Public Works crews have continued to clear streets and sidewalks since the last storms\u00a0and will once again be out with a full clearing effort when the next snowfall begins. City streets will be plowed<\/span>\u00a0based on a priority system, once the storm has ended.<\/p>\n

Residents can help with snow clearing efforts by parking off-street where possible and following any parking restrictions that are announced.\u00a0Clearing catch basins\u00a0and drains around\u00a0your property is also very helpful, especially when there is a combination of new snowfall and melting snow, which is forecasted for the coming days.<\/p>\n

A reminder that it is very important to keep children away from snowbanks near the roads and sidewalks when plows\u00a0or snow removal equipment\u00a0are operating. Plows often have limited visibility and road conditions can make it difficult to stop quickly. Please take precautions to keep everyone safe.<\/p>\n
