The online materials are part of the service improvements associated with the One Stop Development Shop project. The project will result in a “one counter” approach to ensure the development and building permitting process for customers such as developers and other property owners is clear, consistent and efficient. It will bring together the City’s Planning, Building and Infrastructure service areas under one roof, putting the right information and approvals in one place in a customer-centered way.<\/p>\n

The City of Saint John issues permits for the development and construction of all commercial, industrial, institutional or residential properties and buildings. The permits set standards for the health and safety of the citizens of Saint John.<\/p>\n
