Miramichi Fishing Report Week of August 4, 2016

Generally, angling is slow with warm water, and pool closures still in effect. Doug White’s Tammerack Sports Fly Shop in Juniper said the fishing was slow and then it stopped. Seems to be a few fish around but the water is low and warm and with the possible exception of a local or two, the river is vacant.

Angling had been decent to quite good last weekend before the heat brought fishing to a crawl, and the implementation of the closure of identified cold water pools.
