The City of Saint John is advising residents that a portion of Rainbow Park will be closed from April 14 to April 30, 2025. The closure is necessary for infrastructure upgrades to the storm sewer system.

During this period, the north side of the playground will be inaccessible. Parents and guardians are advised to exercise caution when allowing children to use the south side of the playground, as it will be in close proximity to an active construction zone.
