The City of Saint John is advising the public of the following traffic advisory.
Street: Saint Patrick Street
Date: Tuesday, September 19
Time: 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Duration: Fourteen (14) days
Direction: Northbound and Southbound
Action: Traffic will be reduced to one lane and sidewalks will be closed to through traffic.
Specific area: Between Union Street and Water Street between the Canada Games Aquatic Centre and Market Square.
Description of work: Excavation work, core-drilling work, and re-instatement of existing sidewalk.
Transit will continue with its regular stop, as per usual, at the top of Saint Patrick Street.
The public parking lot below the Canada Games Aquatic Centre will be closed to public parking
Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly, reduce speeds in construction zones, observe signage, and drive safely. Work commencement and completion times are subject to change and are weather permitting.
