Event Street Closure Notice – Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos)

The City of Saint John advises the public that the following streets will be closed to motor vehicle traffic between 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29 until 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 30. The reason for the closure is to accommodate the Day of the Dead event.

• Canterbury Street: Between King Street and Princess Street
• Grannan Street: Between Germain Street and Canterbury Street

While the event is underway, the streets and sidewalks will remain open and accessible to all pedestrians.

The event organizer has attempted to notify businesses and residents in the immediate area affected by the street closures. If you have questions, or if you require special accommodations due to the closures, please email greg.cutler@saintjohn.ca.
