Reminder To Residents: City’s Enhanced Waste Wise Program Launch Date Is October 23rd

The City of Saint John is reminding residents that enhanced solid waste collection services will begin on October 23, 2022.

Many residents have now received their Waste Wise curbside collection kits (garbage carts and two recycling totes) and the City will continue to deliver kits to all residents City-wide throughout October, leading up to the start date of the new program.

Please note that all current Solid Waste collection services and schedules remain in effect until the new Waste Wise program launches.

Residents are encouraged to use the new recycling totes to sort and store their recycling prior to the program launch. However, please note that recyclables will not be picked up curbside until the new collection services begin on October 23.
