KV Santa Claus Parade Nov. 27

Saturday, November 27th  6:00pm start

The towns of Quispamsis & Rothesay are excited to host the 23rd Annual KV Santa Claus Parade.

Families / groups / organizations / businesses are encouraged to enjoy this popular community event and also decorate homes / storefronts / signs beforehand.

This year’s theme is A Superhero Christmas.

The parade begins at 6pm @ KVHS and travels along Hampton Road ending at the intersection of Clark Road and Marr Road.

Physical distancing is mandatory, meaning all those who are not in a person’s list of close contacts (Steady 20) must keep a physical distance of at least two metres from others. That includes those who are part of the parade on a float or walking alongside, and those watching along the parade route.

Masks are mandatory for all parade participants, and all spectators are asked to wear a mask as well.

Additional safety standards for participants and viewers are available through an entertaining video (2019 creation) on the KV Santa Claus Parade page located here www.facebook.com.

The 2021 parade will be on Facebook LIVE for those who prefer to watch it virtually.

On parade day please bring a non-perishable food item for the KV Food Basket – which will be picked up by volunteers along the parade route just before the parade begins. Information about Santa’s letters and more is available on the parade’s Facebook page.

2:30-3:30pm: Floats to arrive at KVHS

4:30-5:30pm: Float riders to be dropped off at KVHS

5:45-7:30pm: Sections of Hampton Road will be closed to traffic as the parade progresses along the parade route.
