Hi, my name is Dave Brown, a third-generation resident of the Kennebecasis Valley. I am running for Council for the Town of Rothesay. People ask me all the time why I am running. The answer is simple , I have been a lifetime resident of the KV Valley and it’s time for me to give back to my community. I have been a business owner in Rothesay most of my adult life. I know what it takes to build a business and I want to share my years of experience with others. My family currently operates Auto body Plus, Rothesay Storage Systems. Secure Towing and we recently purchased Valley Taxi.
I have dealt with most levels of Government and numerous departments for many years. When we talk about red tape reduction, we still have a long way to go to help our business community grow and I would like to be part of that change.
When you go to vote, I would appreciate your support. Vote Dave Brown for Rothesay Council.
You will notice I have changed the message on my signs to encourage people to vote. I was surprised to learn that in the last municipal election only 44 percent of eligible voters in Rothesay actually voted. I tried to sort out in my mind the reason so few of the eligible voters voted. Is it a lack on interest or is it our residents are not well enough informed on the process? Remember anyone can vote!!
In a world where communication is everything, I have decided to change my messaging to encourage people to vote . My signs now say, “Just Vote” and “Remember to Vote”.
The Elections NB office has been open for voting since Monday, April 19 and voting will only take a few minutes of your time. If you are concerned about Covid and don’t want to visit in person you can apply for a mail in ballot. The process is simple, just call the returning office in Rothesay at 1-877-504 -0023 and they will do the rest.
The office is located at 122 Hampton Rd., Unit 3, Rothesay.
We have lots of great candidates running and I would like your support. I think it is important to “Just Vote”.
