Saint John Theatre Company Stakeholder Engagement Session

sjtc_logoStephen Tobias, Artistic Director of the Saint John Theatre Company (SJTC) issued the following invitation yesterday, Tuesday November 29th:

The Saint John Theatre Company is examining the potential of developing a professional residency program in Saint John. As a valued member of our theatre community, we would greatly appreciate your feedback and guidance as we consider this project. Please join us for an informal discussion on Wednesday, December 7th, 2016 / 7pm / BMO Studio Theatre, 112 Princess Street.

The Atlantic Repertory Company (ARC) would work with a group of recent graduates from regional theatre training programs over the course of a season. The program would offer residency participants from all theatre disciplines an opportunity gain valuable career experience and other professional development. While with the SJTC, these artists would help expand our production capacity and support education outreach initiatives in our community.

We think the development of the ARC program could put the SJTC at the leading edge of theatre production in our region.

This session will be an opportunity to answer your questions, hear your ideas of how all our various teams might benefit from such a program, and explore how this group of emerging professionals might help achieve our ambitions for the SJTC. Jamie Gamble (Imprint Consulting) will facilitate the feedback session.

This is an important opportunity for you to add your input to the development of this important new program, we hope you can join us on Wednesday, December 7th.

Light refreshments and beverages will be served.

Sincerely,

Stephen Tobias
Artistic Director, SJTC
