The Saint John Sea Dogs announced this week that the team has partnered with Saint John-based technology firm, Spinzo, to offer fans unique ticket promotions.
Spinzo is a social group sales platform. With unique tools and incentives, buyers are compelled to spread the word via social media and word of mouth, increasing ticket sales and potentially lowering prices.
The Sea Dogs will leverage the technology for fundraisers, minor hockey, and select corporate group ticket sales.
“With Spinzo’s platform, we can create unique fan experiences,” said Ben Zayandehroudi, VP of Ticket Sales & Marketing with the Sea Dogs. “Fundraising competitions, live tracking, and Spinzo’s unique Crowdpricing technology will all result in a better fan purchasing experience.”
“The Sea Dogs can now launch offers where fans are continuously engaged,” explained Emmanuel Elmajian, CEO of Spinzo. “With fundraisers, fans can track the success of campaigns in real-time. With Crowdpricing, fans have the power to drop the price based on group size. Combine that with social media sharing, and promotions have the potential to go viral.”
To kick off the use of Spinzo, the Sea Dogs will work with several minor hockey associations to assist their fundraising efforts in December. Details will be available soon.
