Atlantic Division Championship Series Begins Tonight in Halifax

The Saint John Mill Rats have made it to the Atlantic Division Championship Series for the first time in franchise history, and will start the series in Halifax on Saturday May 14th. baksetballplayoffsThe Atlantic Division Championship Series, presented by Dental Fix, begins tonight in Halifax at the Scotiabank Centre as the #1 Halifax Hurricanes (32-11) host the #2 Saint John Mill Rats (28-16).  Tip off is set for 7 PM AST.
The winner of the best-of-seven series will face the winner of the Central Division series between the London Lightning and the Windsor Express.  Windsor won Game 1 on Thursday night 100-98 to take a 1-0 lead in that series.
Game 2 of the Atlantic series will be on Sunday at 4 PM also at the Scotiabank Centre.  Games 3 and 4 will be at Harbour Station on Friday May 20 and Saturday 21, both at 7 PM.

“Playing on the road isn’t a big deal to us,” said Mill Rats guard Anthony Anderson. The Mill Rats won Games 3 and 4 in the Moncton series on the road to closeout the Miracles.
