dressed in holiday style
in the air there’s a feeling of Christmas…”

Imagine horse-drawn trolley rides, festive carollers spreading seasonal glad tidings as they meander the historic uptown streets.  Shops, lit and warm, welcome visitors with gingerbread, hot cider, and personal greeting as only speciality boutiques and shops can. 

This evening will be a unique holiday experience and create memories that will last a life time.  Bring a date, get some friends together, or treat your family to this charming uptown tradition.

5 pm – 8 pm  FREE Horse-drawn Trolley Rides around King’s Square (Trolley stop at King Square North Bus Stop)
6 pm – 7 pm  Carolling by Rothesay Kings and Saint John Rotary Children’s Choirs in King’s Square, FREE coffee and cookies
5 pm – 8 pm  Delight in the sounds of Victorian Carollers from The East Coast Caroling Co. meandering the charming uptown streets
7 pm – 9 pm  Stroll through ‘The Market at Night‘ in support of Harbour Lights.  You only see our historic City Market like this once a year and it’s MAGICAL!
Starting at 5 pm in the Market Square Atrium – Enjoy treats, holiday cheer and give-aways from Santa’s Elves, as well as a performance from ECMA winner Becka deHaan!
Starting at 5 pm in Centre Court, Brunswick Square – Larissa King & Sarah Hebert entertain, 5/6 pm.  Visit Santa from 6-8 pm. The East Coast Caroling Co., 6-8 pm. Visit participating retailers for free food and drink.

Starting at 5 pm in the Shops of City Hall, enjoy the seasonal sounds of St. Malachys String Ensemble, and St. Malachys students carolling along the streets with candy canes for all!

Starting at 5 pm, Uptown Sparkles activity brought to us by the merchants of Prince William Street – Chestnut Roasting, S’mores  barbecue and street music!

Special Treat from the SJ Parking Commission – Uptown Street Parking  FREE PARKING after 5 pm
