Chief For A Day Contest

Saint John Police are looking for a new Chief to take over policing duties in Saint John for one (1) day.  However, only those between the ages of 5-12 will be considered for the role.

The ‘Chief for a Day’ contest is being held as part of National Police Week: May 8-14, 2022.

To enter, we are looking for you to answer the following question (essay format / one page in length):

How do you make a difference in your community?

The new Chief will have the opportunity to spend the day at Saint John Police Headquarters and check out some really cools things.  A great day has been planned for our new Chief.

To enter, please send a copy of your essay, along with your name to police@saintjohn.ca with a subject line: Chief for a Day or you can mail a copy of your essay to Police Headquarters at 1 Peel Plaza, Saint John, NB E2L-OE1.  Also make sure to have a parent, guardian or caregiver complete the below information.

By submitting an entry, I agree my child’s name, essay, photo and/or video may be published or broadcasted by media organizations and the Saint John Police Force as part of the “Chief for a Day” program.
